Gopraying ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Gopraying platform — including our website, mobile application, Leader Link, Church Link, and all related services.

Please read this policy carefully. By using Gopraying, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We review and update this policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

We collect information in the following ways:

Information you provide directly: • Account details — name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and password when you register. • Ministry details — church name, denomination, location, website, social links, and ministry description for Leader and Church profiles. • Content you create — prayers, devotions, testimonies, prayer requests, event details, sermon links, and any other content you submit. • Communications — messages you send to our support team or within community features. • Payment information — billing details processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically: • Usage data — pages visited, features used, session duration, clicks, and interactions with the Platform. • Device information — device type, operating system, browser, IP address, and unique device identifiers. • Location — approximate location inferred from IP address; precise location only with your explicit permission. • Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie section below.

Information from third parties: • If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information (name, email) from those services. • Payment processors may share transaction status and anonymised financial data with us.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Platform and its features. • Create and manage your account and ministry profile. • Process payments and manage subscriptions. • Send you transactional messages — account confirmations, receipts, and security alerts. • Send prayer reminders, devotion notifications, and ministry updates (you can opt out at any time). • Personalise your experience — prayer recommendations, suggested devotions, and content relevant to your faith journey. • Enable community features — prayer walls, testimonies, and challenge participation. • Analyse usage trends to improve performance, fix bugs, and develop new features. • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions. • Protect the security and integrity of the Platform and prevent fraud.

We will never sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising outside the Gopraying Platform.

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

With your church or ministry leader: If you are a church member and your church uses Gopraying, your prayer requests and engagement data may be visible to your church's designated leaders, as described in the feature you use.

With other users: Content you mark as "public" — such as public prayers, testimonies, or prayer requests — is visible to other users. Your name and profile photo are visible on public content.

With service providers: We engage trusted third parties to help us operate the Platform — including cloud hosting providers, payment processors, analytics services, and email delivery services. These providers access your information only as necessary to perform their services and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

For legal reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or lawful request from government authorities, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gopraying, our users, or the public.

Business transfers: If Gopraying is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different Privacy Policy.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services.

If you delete your account: • Your personal profile, prayers, and content are removed from the Platform within 30 days. • Anonymised or aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes and cannot be used to identify you. • Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial regulations.

We take the security of your data seriously. We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:

• Encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS. • Encryption of sensitive data at rest. • Access controls limiting who can access user data internally. • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. • Secure payment processing via PCI-DSS compliant providers — we never store full payment card numbers.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach occurs, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

• Keep you logged in between sessions. • Remember your preferences and settings. • Understand how users navigate and use the Platform (analytics). • Measure the effectiveness of features.

Types of cookies we use: • Essential cookies — required for the Platform to function. Cannot be disabled. • Analytics cookies — help us understand usage patterns (Google Analytics via Firebase). Where the law requires your consent first (for example in the EU and UK), they are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner. Elsewhere they are on by default. Wherever you are, you can turn them off at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of our website. • Preference cookies — remember your settings and choices.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit your experience on the Platform. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

Gopraying is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@gopraying.com and we will promptly delete such information.

Users between 13 and 18 may use the Platform with parental consent. Schools, youth groups, and churches using Gopraying for young people are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data. • Deletion — request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations). • Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format. • Restriction — request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances. • Objection — object to processing of your data based on our legitimate interests. • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

Gopraying serves churches and Christians around the world. Your information may be processed on servers in countries other than your own, including the United Kingdom, where our main servers are, the European Union and the United States, depending on our infrastructure providers.

Where data is transferred outside your country, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — including data processing agreements with our providers — to protect your information in accordance with this policy.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, or payment processors. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services linked from the Platform.
