Introducing Gopraying to the World
Meet Gopraying: one Christian app for your daily walk with God and the life of your church, from guided prayer and devotions to events, giving and care.
Today we're introducing Gopraying to the world.
Gopraying is a Christian app built on a simple conviction: prayer belongs in every part of the day, and church shouldn't stop when Sunday ends. So we brought the two together. Your personal time with God and the life of your church now live in one place, in your pocket, every day of the week.
Here's what Gopraying can do for you, whether you pray on your own, belong to a church, or lead one.
For your own time with God
Daily verses, prayers and devotions
Every morning there's a fresh Bible verse to carry with you, and short guided prayers for the morning, afternoon and evening. They're written to fit into a busy day: a few minutes is enough.
Devotions shaped around your day
Share how you're feeling and what's on your heart, and Gopraying gives you a devotion and prayer rooted in Scripture. Over the next few days, follow-ups go a little deeper, so it feels less like reading a page and more like a journey.
New week, new month
At the start of a week or a month, you can commit the time ahead to God. Tell the app what you're praying for, and you'll receive a devotion shaped around those things.
Prayer challenges
Join a prayer challenge to pray with focus for a set number of days. Each day has its own theme and scripture, and reminders help you keep going. When your church runs a challenge, you can see everyone praying through it together.
Bible questions and half-remembered verses
Ask a question about the Bible, or describe a verse you only half remember, and find it. Answers are written in a style that fits your church's tradition.
Praying for each other
Prayer requests are at the heart of Gopraying. Share a request with your community, and others can pray with you. The app can suggest a prayer for them to pray, using only your first name.
Churches and prayer ministries also get a single prayer request link. Anyone can use it to send a request, even without the app. The prayer team sees every request, prays over it, and can let people know they've been prayed for.
Staying close to your church
Find a church or a leader
Search for churches and see their service times, location, leaders and upcoming events. You can also follow pastors, ministers and gospel artists, including leaders who serve beyond one congregation.
Events, updates and going live
Follow your church to see its events and updates in one place. RSVP to an event, get a reminder before it starts, and see at a glance when something is happening live. After an event, you can leave a comment or feedback.
Check-ins
Say you're there with one tap, whether you're in the sanctuary or watching online. For conferences and revivals, you can check in day by day.
Giving
Every way to give to your church is in one place: mobile money, bank details and online giving links. One tap copies the details or opens the link.
For churches and leaders
Gopraying is also church management software that your congregation already uses on their phones. Church admins and leaders can:
- Look after members: know who belongs to the church and keep everyone in the loop.
- Run services and events: weekly services, one-off events, RSVPs and reminders.
- Understand attendance: compare RSVPs with who actually came, count people joining online or on TV, and spot first-time visitors so you can welcome them back.
- Make smart posters: design an event poster in seconds from ready-made templates, with a QR code that opens the event page. Post, story and print sizes come from one design.
- Collect prayer requests and follow up through the church's prayer link.
- Work as a team: several admins, ministry teams and volunteers working together.
- Get a head start on writing: draft a devotion or an event description from a topic, then edit it. Nothing is posted until you post it.
Getting started
Download Gopraying, tell it a little about yourself, and start with today's verse and prayer. Then find your church, follow the leaders you learn from, and share your first prayer request. If you lead a church, claim or create its page and invite your team.
Wherever you start, the goal is the same: more prayer in every day, and churches that stay connected all week. Welcome to Gopraying.
